You’ve found me! I’m Andrea Parrish

I’m your average (?) local neurodivergent, overenthusiastic, info-dumping Millennial. I write fiction, nonfiction, and educational resources.

Bio

Andrea Parrish is pursuing an M.F.A. in Creative Writing (Fiction) at Eastern Washington University — which is a funny place to land for someone with aphantasia, a condition that means she has never once visualized a single scene she's written. She thinks about this a lot, and writes about it too, in both fiction and nonfiction.

At EWU, she also teaches courses in social media, event planning, and — beginning Spring 2026 — speaking the language of AI. Her nonfiction has appeared in CUInsight, Washington Bikes, and across nearly 750 episodes of her podcast A Thousand Things To Talk About (2015–2019).

As a speaker, she has taken the stage at TEDx Coeur d'Alene, Disrupt HR, and countless industry conferences nationwide — always asking the questions that make rooms a little uncomfortable and a lot more honest, no matter what the topic.

She lives and works in the Pacific Northwest, where shedoes far too many things and is, probably right now, making notes in the margins of something.
